I was struck by the emotional depth of a film whose primary audience is young kids. Life would be dull if our emotions were horizontal. We’d lack passion and zest. The wide range of emotions we encounter play a role in our human encounter and essence our personality, mood, behavior and motivation. Yes, emotions can be raw, messy and visceral,  but they can additionally be   profound, beautiful, and comforting. They all add dimension and flavor.   Disgust in the role of acceptable social behaviors has the potential to be very important. If we teach our children there are certain values that are important, and morals to follow, they have the potential to be offended (disgusted) when behaviors opposite to their values are displayed. It may keep them from getting involved in substance abuse, risk taking actions and becoming sexually active. If disgust helps th

What is the dependent variable in the study? The dependent variable is the variable that is being measured or tested in an experiment .                                                 Junk Food        Teenagers should eat healthy and energetic food. Junk food including fast food burgers, fries etc looks good to eat, but these things are not healthy. First of all, these things are full of calories and full of fat. They are full of sugar, fat and salt. Fries and chips are cooked in oil and they are deep-fried. So you can imagine how much oil it has in them. Junk food usually has very few nutrients and a lot of fat, sugar and salt. Your body can often get too much of these and so eating junk food on a regular basis can make you unhealthy. Some experts refer to junk food as "empty calories" meaning that the food contains lots of calories that are not particularly helpful to your body. Thus, by eating this food you are killing yourself and making you off-colour.           Not only is it low in calories and makes you unhealthy, you also may become overweight and full of fat. When you eat a burger, pizza, chips,
